那些在「春雨」裡走出秀場感的雨靴

1839年，美國化學家查爾斯·古德伊爾在一次偶然中製作出了硫化橡膠，並為其申請了專利。幾年後，一位英裔美國商人海勒姆·哈金森購買了這項專利，並於1853年在法國開設了一家名為“ l‘Aigle”（譯為“to the Eagle”，用以紀念美國）的橡膠製品公司，在那裡他開始使用硫化橡膠製作“惠靈頓靴”。耐磨、舒適且防水的惠靈頓橡膠靴，一經推出便大受歡迎。同一時期，蘇格蘭一家新創立的名為諾里斯的“北不列顛橡膠公司”也開始售賣這種實用又方便的橡膠靴 ，他們生產包括“惠靈頓”橡膠靴在內的各種橡膠製品。而這家公司，就是如今的專業製靴品牌——獵人（Hunter Boots）。
經過戰爭的催化，“惠靈頓”膠靴開始名聲大噪，成為了平民們廣泛使用的雨靴，而款式上也變成了寬筒、厚底、圓頭的樣式。 1956年，北不列顛橡膠公司推出了第一款綠色現代款的“原始綠色惠靈頓靴”（Original Green Wellington），而這種經典的設計也一直沿用至今，從此之後，“惠靈頓”膠靴正式踏入時尚領域。 在這之後，又因為黛安娜王妃在拍攝訂婚紀念照時，首度將Hunter雨靴進行了搭配，於是這股時尚風潮便越發不可收拾，逐漸成為風靡全國的存在。至今為止，Hunter雨靴仍會出現在許多充滿個性的結婚紀念照裡。
另一位在雨靴的時尚發展之路上功不可沒的，就是超模Kate Moss 。在Hunter瀕臨破產時，自帶名人效應的Kate Moss 不僅出街穿，參加音樂節也穿，不同搭配下的Hunter雨靴時髦度拉滿。在這之後，雨靴便受到更多時尚icon的寵愛，而人們也不再僅僅只將橡膠雨靴視為功能性用具，對其時尚方面的發展也有了更多的期待。
